Sprinkles of positive

Note: I’ve never read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho but I came across some quotes from the novel on Goodreads and I hope they are not only helpful but find you well.

Have you read The Alchemist? Do you recommend it? What were your thoughts on it? Sound off in the comments section.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by 😊

  1. ‘The Alchemist’ is, without question, my all-time favorite book. I’ve read it at least once a year since I discovered and I take more from it with each reading. I find that the Spirit moves through Coelho’s writing in a very real, very important way for me. I even read this novel (when the curriculum allows the time) with my seniors, as their last assignment before graduation. There is no better way I can think of to send them off into the world than with the wisdom and love in this book!

    1. You’re a teacher? That’s an amazingly rewarding job I’m sure. Thanks Michael! I think it’s an amazing way to send them into the world. I’ve gotten so much encouragement to read this. I’ve put it off for a while but with so much positive responses towards it I’m inclined to read it as soon as possible.

      1. Whenever you sit down to read it, I’d bet it’ll be coming to you at the right time :). And yes, I teach high school Theology! I teach a course that’s half church history/half peace and justice and my senior course is World Religions. And, cliche as it sounds, it is wildly rewarding. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
