Awarded: The Favorite New Blog Awards

I’m a bit behind on this but I’d like to thank Anna @ The Self-Actualized Life for nominating for an award that she created. Kudos to you Anna for creating such an award! If you’d like to read more about this award, you may do so here.

Here are the rules: Answer the questions, nominate 10 other bloggers who have smaller blogs than you do. In the spirit, try to keep it as those with less than 400-500 followers. I hope you enjoy the awards! Find new blogs! No matter how big or small you are, connecting is important! The picture I used, a hammock on a beach, would be my happy place!

Now for the questions:

  1. What is your happy place?                                                                                                                              I think my happy place in when I feel safe, tranquil and relaxed. I’m not quite sure I can tie that to a specific space. My ideal happy place is in my head.
  2. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?                                                                                                 In 10 years, I can see myself helping others. I’m not sure as to what capacity but I’d like to be helping others in some way. I’ll be a wife and mother. I want to 2 dogs and I’ll be writing of course. In 10 years, I’ll have written and published at least 2 books.
  3. What is your passion in life?                                                                     Writing. I don’t want to go into details because I’m sure this post will become so much longer than I want it to be
  4. Who are your favorite people in the world? (family, children, parents, etc)                                                                                                                                    My favorite people in the world are friends I won’t name because if they’re reading this they already know who I’m addressing. If they have to question it they’re either being silly or it’s not them. My other favorite people are the mother’s that have graced my life and treated me like their own and other favorite people are the one’s I can talk to without having to feel like I should hide my awkward.
  5. What would you consider the philosophy of your life?                                           There’s something a two people told me that I consider the philosophy of my life. One was told to me by an acquaintance, “Life’s not a race. We’re all on different paths.” That was told to me at one of the lowest points in my life and I’ll never forget it. The other thing that was told to me was by a friend, “Do what’s best for you.” I heard her tell me this for years but it didn’t register until it did. Once it did and I started living those words the broken path that I was on changed to one of recovery. I’m a Christian and I do try my best to live according to the Bible but often fail. Thank God for forgiveness right?

As for the 1o bloggers I’ll nominate the following:

CA Gallinger @ Inscribed Chaos
Bina @ If You Can Read This
Tam @ Mystereity Reviews
Megan @ Bookslayer Reads
Fina @ Fina Loves Books
Michael @ My Comic Relief
Gretchen @ Chic Nerd Reads
Nafiza @ Bibliophilic Monologues
Peter @ Melancholy Hill
Vanessa @ Food In Books
If I may I’d like to add one more: Melanie @ Meltotheany

      1. Highlight the words and then the chain at top font, etc, bar. A box will pop up with the words in second box. In the top box, and the link of their about page from their site and it will ping back to them, make sense ?
